Newbie to Carb site
Hi, I am Amanda a 30 yr old, I have a couple of kids and am trying to get healthy and be an active MOM. I was diagnosed with PCOS on Tuesday and have Insulin Resistence. The doc placed me on Metformin. I am obese 252lbs but I started low carbs on Tues once I was diagnosed. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated. I tried Atkins about 4 yrs ago and lost 35lbs but as soon as I stopped it came right back on with a vengence. I hope to be able to lose the weight and not have to suffer and longer. This will have to be a life commitment from me , I want to avoid Diabetes. Thanks for letting me open up , would love to hear from ya'll.
