Daily Menu
I know there is a thread for daily menus already, but Schwarzbein is a little different so I am asking if anyone will post their daily menus. The unimaginative among us (me!) get so much inspiration seeing what everyone else is eating.

Well here's mine...
Breakfast: scramble egg, 2 slices of grilled bacon small glass of diluted juice lunch: small can of pink salmon, large salad, tomato, teaspoon of dressing apple snack: 2 ryvitas ( do you have them in USA - rye crackers?) with cream cheese dinner: piece of fish cooked in tinfoil in the oven with lemon and herbs, topped with a sort of ratatoille ( sorry.. spelt wrong) with peppers, celery, some onion, courgette (you call it zucchini?) and tomatoes. portion of broccoli snack: 2 squares of dark chocolate, some nuts. |
Well okay, but keep in mind I don't completely follow Schwarzbein:
Yesterday: Breakfast - 1/4 flax meal cereal w/ cloves, a bit of Splenda and some cream, decaf w/ cream Lunch - can of tuna w/ mayo, caesar salad and a few croutons Snack - prosciutto and brie Dinner - bbq lamb, mashed cauliflower w/ cream and parmesan, my dad's sweet potato bake (made w/ tofu and AS), yogurt w/ peaches and strawberries As for today, I'm planning: Breakfast - ricotta w/ soya protein powder, strawberries, decaf w/ cream Lunch - egg salad, almonds Snack - prosciutto and brie Dinner - not sure yet... |
I had
Breakfast: 1 small flour tortilla filled with eggs, sausage and salsa Lunch: small portion of steak, 1/2 cup of new potatoes, salad with Ranch Snacks: almonds, 1 RyKrisp cracker with string cheese Dinner: grilled steak, small baked potato with sour cream, salad Boring but haven't had time to shop yet. |
That doesn't sound the least bit boring! And now I want some steak too!
Today (also in my journal): Yogurt w/ protein powder, decaf w/ cream Tomato sauce w/ ground beef over fried zucchini (dinner leftovers), almonds Coconut curry chicken w/ broccoli, Ryvita crackers Snack: brie and salami L. |
