Today is going to be the big test. My son is having his 16th birthday tonight. I have bought a cake and now I have to make an extra one, because he decided he wanted to invite 15 of his friends for a little cookout. My huband just got home with 3 "big" bags of chips and the stuff to make dip. Plus all the other stuff for dinner. and he smiles at me and ask's What are you having tonight?? Ha Ha I planned ahead a little, I made Jello, and I told him instead of having potato salad, that I was going to make my own devil eggs. and instead of having reg. chips I purchased low carb chips. Have you ever tried them? Also since you go to Wal-mart, have you ever tried the low carb ice cream? The chocolate is very good.
Well I'll let you know if I was a good girl...

hi tammy - sounds like you are prepared! you are so cool - i am impressed.

i am dying to try the low carb ice cream from walmart - no i have not seen it, never even looked! what kind of low carb chips did you find? more low carbs foods are making it to market i guess now. what a relief for us.

if you have ice cream--who wants cake? i'd take ice cream anyday! good luck - and wish your son a happy bday...

The party was great!!! ( I did not cheat!)
With this nice weather we have been having I ended up with a bad cold, with a loss of appetite. I'm trying to force myself to eat but now just keeping chicken broth down.
Did you get your ice cream?? I also found a low carb bread in our store. it is called Nature's Own reduced carb. BUT it has soy protein. Also I was told if your store did not carry the ice cream, ask them and they will order it for you.

hi tammy - good for you - you must so proud to have made it thru the party unscathed!

i did not see the low carb ice cream yet - and we do have the low carb bread, BUT my worst allergy is to soy. i get headaches and asthma when i eat soy - so none for me. i found some bread here made by monks that live locally and its whole wheat and 7 carbs a slice.
