How many carbs can you eat without gaining?
Hi All,
Just wondering...how many carbs can you personally eat without gaining weight? (if not in induction) I was reading in the New Revolution that some people need to stay at say 30 grams a day while others it's much higher. Thanks! |
My range is between 20-25. Sometimes, rarely though, I don't hit 20. I am losing, ever so slowly, but then again I'm in no hurry. So I guess 30 for me would mean no weight loss.

Not sure
I have been staying close to 20.

20 - 25 and between 1400 - 1500 calories.

weight loss
I'm at 35 carbs/day and try to stay around 1,600 calories... There really isn't a specific number, it varies per person... Some have to stay around 20 and some (like my cousin who has a lot to lose) is around 50... Just keep adding carbs by 5 grams each week and see what happens...

I range from 40-50 depending on the day and am still losing!!

I can go as high as 50 carbs (and more on a heavy-physical day) and still stay in ketosis and lose. My best carb is around 30 for best results.

I started gaining when I went over 45. It made me mad because I'm young and have never been overweight, just wanted to loose 20 lb. Many of the success stories in AFL are about older people with major health problems and they still get to eat 50 or 60 carbs! I don't know why I'm so low!?

I safely stay at 30-35grams and I lose steadly. I think I probally could go up to 50 or 60 but I like to play it safe.

I can eat up to 90g per day on Maintenance and not gain, provided I exercise. If I am lazy, I can eat about 70g.
