giving up cheese??

Not me!!

Tonight, on the TV game show Hollywood Squares, one of the questions was:

What food do dieters have the most trouble giving up?

Answer- cheese.

haha! I don't have to!

LOL, I probably never would have tried Atkins if cheese wasn't allowed. I don't eat that much of it, but I sure do love it when I do! :)

My friend has also started eating low carb recently (for health reasons, not weight issues), and she's a PASTRY CHEF. We were chatting in e-mail about low-carb endruns around dessert (she's making brownies tonight and promises to let me know how they come out -- I'll keep you posted!).

She was telling me about all these foods she's been making, and always ending with the caveat, "It's not low fat though, because I use heavy cream (or butter, or olive oil... fill in the blank)." I'm going down the list, saying, "Can have it. Can eat it. Can have that. Must eat that."

Which is why we can call this a WOL, and not just a diet. :yay:

Having a Pastry Chef join the ranks would be… the icing on the cake, or rather the jewel on the crown. :p Try to have her join us. We'd unroll the red carpet for her. There already are some low-carbers amongst our colleague but I've never met a low-carbing pastry chef in this turf!
