A Question Regarding New Posts
 

When I check in to the New Posts every day, the number of pages of new posts is listed (for instance, 29).
I then start to read them.
I'll skim through the first four or five pages, then I'll get the message

And if I go to any page I get that message.

So then I usually go do some work, or a crossword or something, and if I check back with the new posts it will list far fewer pages (say, 8).

Why so?

What can I do to read the other posts (pages 21 through 29)?

I think the list of new threads will expire after a period if you go away, as it will consider these posts read.

You just need to click the new posts again when you come back, and it will show you the new posts since your last visit.

If you want to see all posts made today, click on "Quick Links", and then click on "Today's thread".

SO when I post on Quick LInks, I can't click on anything because it won't go over the ad, can't see what it says at all.
Noticed this with the search button too, I have to open in new window to use the search feature, because the box doesn't show up? Is there any way to fix that?

I'm not sure I understand. You mean when you press on "Quick Links" the menu does not popup? Or it pops up but the options are not clickable? Or you can't see it?

What browser are you using and what version? What operating system? Any ad-blockers or popup blockers?

When i press on quicklinks, it pops up, but the ad is over part of it, and i can't read what it says. It's not clickable..if i click, the ad opens for ediets. I'm using Internet Explorer 5. No ad blockers or pop up blockers. Using Windows. The search button, I only see Search Forums, then where the box is, it is covered up by the Free Atkins Diet Profile. I can't use the box, because I can't see it or type in it. ?
