stupid question alert - water / measuring it...
ding dong here.... i'm trying to ensure that i get enough water & that i accurately count it throughout the day. i've got a bottle of spring water, which i'll guzzle and then re-fill from the water cooler throughout the day.
the weight on the bottle says "1 pt, .9 fl oz". does this mean that this bottle contains a pint of water??? and what is with the .9 fluid ounces? i DO know how much an ounce is, and this ain't .9 ounces. can someone please help my poor math-addled brain out? |
My poland spring sports bottle says 1PT, 8 FL OZ and on the other side it says 24oz sports pack!
If you have a similar water bottle, its probably a 24oz one! |
The bottle contains 16.9 ounces of water. One pint = 2 cups = 16 ounces.
|
ahhhh.... the gerbils in my brain have awoken and begun running on their treadmill again. of course! one pint AND .9 ounces.
thank you! |
