New low carb foods
At least I've just found them -- let me know what you think of these products if you've used them. Maybe they're no good.
Magic spoon Cereal. Supposedly 3G net carbs. Really does taste like cereal. Problem is its hard to wean away from sugar when you're eating stuff that tastes sweet. One good thing is it doesn't leave you hungry like sugar cereal. I ate mine with frozen blueberry's and Almond milk with some almonds or 90% chocolate and that makes a full meal. Miracle noodles -- 97% water -- rest fiber. 2G carb for whole bag. Really has the consistency of noodles and easy to prepare. I always mess up squash noodles -- can't seem to cook them right Jacklinks zero sugar beef jerky About 2 carbs for whole bag. Tastes pretty good. |
I dont buy any jerked meat as they are bith too pricey and have i ngredients we dont want. Cant speak to the one you listed specifically though.
We bought a food drier. Makes great jerky. You co ntrol the i ngedients for the jerk |
Yeah that would for sure be the way to go.

- Never heard of Magic Spoon
- Also haven't seen sugar-free Jack Links, but I'd probably have to avoid it if it has regular soy sauce (gluten) - Miracle Noodles: we don't have that brand here, but I occasionally enjoy those shirataki/konjac noodles when I'm in the mood for old-school comfort food like mock mac n' cheese or tuna "noodle" casserole like my mom used to make. I just wish the package was either a little bigger (to stretch to 2 servings) or a little smaller - I find it too filling and not worth saving a few bites of leftovers. |
I like looking up these new products - thanks!
