la tiara taco shells
 

hi, I have come across these on ebay and read some pasts posts about them. I am interested in getting them, on ebay I could get 216 shells for $36 total. is this a good deal? do any stores in the new york city area carry La tiara? thanks

I use to buy them at the local HFS. They were $5 for 10 shells. So yes that's a great deal. I liked the white ones the best. Havn't had them in quite some time now tho.

I'm not sure as to the brand of shells I got but I found some at Vons Grocery store(CA) they tasted very stale and hard. But maybe the brand you are talking about is different. I'll go home and find out and let you know. I'm not sure if this helps you any.

La tiara's were good until I found buena vida-no comparisson.

Does Buena Vida make a hard taco shell? Their soft flour tortillas are very good.

I haven't found them in my area either but I found a pretty good looking web site for Mexican food that's suppose to be low carb. They even have some recipes. I haven't ordered anything from them yet. They sell La Tiara taco shells. A case is 12 boxes (216 shells) for $26.75 or a box of 18 for $3.50. They have both kinds.
