I have been on induction 4 days now and I am feeling great !! I would like to post my cheat free days. I have seen it posted somewhere before how to get the Cheat free days symbol. Thanks Oregongirl

The information is in the Comments Box and Technical Questions forum. At or near the top of the forum, you'll see a "sticky" thread called something like "Check here first!" that has links to lots of info, including how to get the Cheat Free Symbol. :)

Hi I am also completly cluless, I followed the link that was provided for the Cheatfree days Badge and still don't understand on how to apply the badge to my signature? If anyone can help ,Thanx :rolleyes: !!! Oregongirl

copy the url for the icon (highlight the text with your mouse then press Ctrl and C at the same time to copy)
go to your profile (green button)
select signature
paste the url into the grey field (put your cursor in the signature area and press Ctrl and V at the same time to paste)

I can't figure it out still I have tried every which way to get that cheat free symbol.... I have windows XP I wonder if that has anything to do with the way you apply the symbol to your signature?

You must have a syntax error. It is not an XP issue, I have XP

1. First make sure you have a good address by pasting the url into your browser and going to it. You should see the image you want. If not, you need to fix the address.

2. Paste the url (after making sure it works) into your signature file.

3. You need to put image tags at the beginning and end of the url.

4. Position your cursor at the beginning of the url and click on the yellow image icon. The editor will insert [IMG]

5. Then put your cursor at the end of the url and click on the image icon again. Editor will insert [/IMG]

6. Test it by clicking on preview

Remember, you need beginning and ending brackets for everything you do because you are telling where things begin and end. The tags always being with a word in square brackets, and end with /word in the square brackets.

I don't know how else to help troubleshoot this without seeing your sig file.

Thank you Roz for the quick reply ! I will give it a try and see what happens. Actually I will have my daughter she is 14 ( I am still in my 30's, I'm not that old ) give it a try, seems like the younger ones are more up on this computer stuff. Thank you Oregongirl
