Welcome!

Hi Kay,

I went and visited your website, and you are a wonderful person, I can tell! I esp. liked your poetry and the body casting work! Anyway this is a place full of very helpful people of all types and I hope you are able to acheive your goals, what ever they may be!

I know that there is alot to absorb here in this forum, I've spent many days looking into journals, reading all manner of posts, and interacting with others. Never be shy about asking questions, someone does have the answers, maybe too many.... :daze:

Anyway, have fun!

Thank you for the welcome and for the kind words. Yes, this is a bit overwhelming, but I will allow myself time to adjust. I'm not even sure I am 'replying' correctly :daze: Oh well, I'll soon find out. I have lost my Atkins book, so will have to get another, but to be honest with you, am quite concerned with all the 'fats' in this diet, as I had a heart attack 4 years ago. All the foods I was told were off limits are included in this program, so I'm quite nervous about it....any thoughts? Thanks again! Kay

All that fat!

Hey, just remember Dr Atkins is a Cardiologist, if that's how you spell it, (ah for a spell checker!) :p

Anyway, yes, yes, you must get your book! It's the best source of info, but also there are lot's of sticky threads with lot's of good info as well. While you are falmilarizing yourself with the forum, go ahead to the Low Carb Journal/ BootCamp or something along those lines. and set yourself up with a Journal to record your progress, thoughts, that sort of thing, others will visit it and make comments and encorage you. You can go to mine or any others and get some great ideas!

Anyway feel free to post in mine, and ask any questions, if I don't answer I'm sure someone will! ;)
