Flaxseed Oil + Headache = Coincidence?
 

Hi, I went to my chemist today to get some Flaxseed Oil (Nature's Way) to help with bowel movements (not happening, am currently on Induction). Funny thing I took the first two capsules after lunchtime and I have had a constant headache ever since (luchtime being 2 hours a go). Anybody experience headaches when they first starting taking them? or any other side effects for that matter? I also purchased some GNC Psyllium capsules (500gm) I have taken one and nothing has happened.....should I take two? I thought it would be safer to wait until bedtime and take the two but then again I need to go!! How soon does it start working? Silly questions but an answer will be appreciated.

Well, I dont know what day your on in Induction, but headaches are common in the beginning regardless of what your eating due to sugar and carb withdrawls.

But, I do take the fiber (psyllium husks) and one tablespoon of flaxseed oil a day and to not have headaches. But as they are natural, it did take about 3 days to start working. Now, I am regular every day at the same time. (I guess that is more info than you needed to know!)

DO NOT TAKE THEM AT BEDTIME, unless you want to be up all night? I take mine in the morning with breakfast.

Thanks for the reply Melissa. I am actually on my 6th week of Induction (I have lost track been struggling a long for about that long - been strictly following it though for a week now). I will take both supplements in the morning with breakkie. Maybe I am just having withdrawal symptoms.
