diet Pop

Hi there,

I just wanted some help here.

the last few days at work I have been craving Pop. So I go to the Pop machine and get a diet Pop like Pepsi or diet coke.

It is probably No good but has anybody been going through that?

What does it really do to your Diet when you Drink the diet Pespi or coke?

Thank you,
Andrew

The long and short of the matter:

1) Caffiene causes dehydration. The diet you are on currently is already highly diuretic. So the need for replacement fluids increases.

2) Artificial sweeteners have been known to trigger insulin release in some people causing a stalling effect on weight loss.

3) Aspartame is a pretty scarey toxic sweetener, causing headaches and other ailments.

4) Dr Atkin's limits our artificial sweeteners to 3 a day. Including cans of pop.

Aren't you glad you asked? :D

Or be really thristy!

If you do drink pop with caffiene, drink an extra glass of water to help compensate. :) (I drink Diet RCs sweetened with Splenda, but I do limit them to one a day.) It's the only vise I have left

you should try diet sprite which is caffeine free. also fresca is pretty good.. don't know about the caffeine content. there are also tons of other caffiene free diet sodas.
joyce.
