salmon chowder
My mom was talking about salmon chowder the other day and it just got me craving it, so... here is the simplified/low carb version. It could stand some snazzing up, but it was good and warm on a cold evening... quick too.
Low carb milk butter can of salmon salt/pepper/garlic salt Heat the milk and butter and spices. Stir so the milk doesn't scorch. Add salmon and heat through. I cheated a little and added 3 ritz crackers. It was good. Next time I am going to add onions. Any other suggestions? Jamie |
Maybe a some celery and a sprinkle of dill or tarragon?

I bet it would work with cream. :thup: I'm going to try this. I used to love corn chowder in my pre-LC days, and I love salmon. Sounds good!
