Slim Sweet Zero Calorie Sweetener
 

I recently purchased from the Atkin's site their Soft Serve Ice Cream packets to make your own low carb softserve ice cream.

I was disappointed that the packet contained a couple of sugars: low glycemic monosaccaride and dextrose. Plus it contained Lo Han Fruit Concentrate which sounded a little suspect to me. Still its label touted less than 1 carb per 1/2 cup serving.

I found that Lo Han Fruit Concentrate is really low carb (thank goodness!) but itself has 1 gram per gram weight, so I think that the softserve is probably more like 3 grams carb per 1/2 cup serving, but that it still good since the softserve tastes fabulous!
