coconut oil
This stuff is really great.. AFWIFE said that she used it as oil to fry meats etc..I researched it..It said it was really good for the skin and healthy for the body..OI ordered the extra virgin coconut oil..Smells great and gives meats a really good taste..I think a sweeter smell. My skin feels great..I have trouble woth my hands getting dry and my cuticles splitting(even drinking water) but now they are healing..It's a good product.it is a good product..Just wanted everyone to know..I ordered from Vitacost, but I heard tropical traditions is really good.

Isn't it great. I love my coconut oil. I'm finally running out and I'm thinking of getting more, from tropical traditions this time too.

You can also use coconut oil for baking as well. It's pretty neat.

Anyone got any advice on RBD coconut oil? I found some *really* cheap near me, so I emailed the company:-

I know it's not as good as the virgin stuff, but is there likely to be any benefit (or harm!) in using it for cooking? |
Karen has a sticky about coconut oil in the supplement section. Its loaded with information that I think you'll find interesting.
I use Spectrum, only because someone on this board reccomened it & I'm very happy with it. You can also use the oil on your skin & hair... |
I use coconut oil in my handmade soap, but not a lot as too much can be drying to the skin. I have never thought about eating it! I have half of a 50 lb pail.

OK - I'm convinced. I just went online and purchased some. I have dry hands, and sometimes dry hair, too. I hope it's worth the price. THanks for the tip...

I've found the best coconut oil from www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com
The processed crud has a funnytexture, bad taste and smell often, and sometimes has bad things added or is partially hydroginized. I'd look out for virgin really. It is a much better quality. |
What I ordered is virgin. Can't wait to try it.
