Wait until you are done induction and then

3 TBS atkins bake mix, 3 eggs, 1/3 cup of heavy cream - let sit for 5 minutes.

Makes these tasty crepes you can fill with ricotta and splenda OR use some SF syrup.

You can have it all.... just not today.

soup supper

I can relate. At my church they have a potato soup(my all time favorite) supper after the last service on Ash Wed. But I solved that problem. They have two other services during the day. So I'll go to one of them. Probably the earliest. So I wont even have to smell the soup cooking! :D Ellen

If you want a good substitute for potato soup, try cauliflower cheese soup:

1 medium head cauliflower, cut into flowerets
3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup diced onion
2 stalks celery, diced
1 clove minced garlic
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz. ham, diced
3/4 cup heavy cream
crumbled bacon for garnish

Cook cauliflower, onion, celery and garlic in chicken broth until soft. Puree in food processor or blender in batches and return to pot. Add cream, ham, shredded cheese and simmer until cheese is melted stirring frequently to prevent scorching. Serve with crumbled bacon garnish.

Serves 6 at roughly 6 grams carb per serving.

That means PUCZKIS!!!!

I live in a very Polish town and they are of course very Catholic. Tradition is to eat and eat and eat Puczkis (sp???) which are donuts. Poppy seed filled, apricot filled, etc. Bakeries are open 24 hours making and selling them for this special day! They were every where today....I know people who ate 5 and 6. I sipped my water and thought of that Nutrigrain commercial, where the donuts are around the people's waists!
