Keto Brand Foods Question from Newbe

Hello,

I am 2 weeks into my Adkins diet and was looking for other ideas of things to eat besides the norm, meat and cheese and I came across the website that offers the brand KETO as a low carb product line.

My question is I can never find anything in the store that is low carb like these products. Has anyone bought any of the KETO items? I would like to get some feedback from others before I buy.

In my town I can not even find sugar free peanut butter, so if KETO products are any good I will just shop on line so I can stay on my diet.

Any information will be greatly appreciated!!

I just used the Keto Rye quickbread yesterday. It tasted fine, but it didn't rise very well - It looks like a loaf of zucchini bread. My husband grabbed some mustard and a piece of pastrami and seemed very happy to have some sort of bread back in the house.

The Ketatos work okay, also. The one thing that I didn't like about mashed cauliflower alone is that it still has a strong smell. Ketato seemed to take that away. I won't serve it for Thanksgiving, but it is fine for home.

I also have the Keto bread crumbs, but I haven't tried them yet. I want to try breading chicken with them, because pork rinds didn't work all that hot for me.

Lastly, Keto vanilla ice cream - stay away from it. It had a real artificial taste to it. I know Fran McCullough's book has plenty of ice cream recipies that work just fine.

I've also tried both brands of pizza crusts and low carb pasta - can't really tell the difference between the two! I forgot to order the crust this month, but I doubled up on the pasta - we like it as a treat once a month.

Hope this helps. Low Carb Luxury has a review products section, but they seem to like EVERYTHING, so take it with a grain of salt.
