Odor

Hi Everyone,

I have noticed since I've stated the LC life I smell like a dead yak in the noonday son. Does this ever go away? Anyway to reduce the odor besides showerinbg 100 times a day? :D

Thanks

Ketosis:

You can try drinking more water, making sure you have your 20 grams of carbs from mostly green vegetables, and chew parsley.

Ketones can also be excreted though the sweat glands, so make sure you have an anti-perspirant and a deoderant.

Hey Grandpa,

DEAD YAK! LOL ALOT..I know exactly what you mean. Sadly, and to my mortification, my trainers know even better. I have never had ketone mouth; the stickin' stuff permeates my sweat. Haven't found a solution yet short of excessive bathing and keeping my home at what my family describes as Arctic temperatures.

Look me up if you break the code.

Isn't it bad enough our breath has to stink?!? Luckily I have not noticed this problem, and if it is one, know one has the nerve to tell me. :p

I hope it is one of those man things. AND that my DH doen't develop it!!

Sorry Mary but......I'm all woooooman! (and it stinks)

Hope you're spared,

Jones

Thanks

Everyone,

Thanks for your posts. I guess I'll just keep showering. My family has not mentioned the problem. I think they are being polite

Taking chlorophyl tablets can help. When I worked in a pet shop we used to sell them for people to give to their dogs to get rid of doggie breath and body odours. I've heard they work on humans too. Don't know where to get them but check out your local health food shop.

P.S. Roll on deodorants help too.

I second the thought on Chlorphyll tablets. I take two a day - and while I am not always sweet smelling - at least it is back to a normal smell. They don't work immediately, you have to take them for a bit to start noticing.
