Help
Thanks for answering Lisa. My day is basically:
2 eggs with cream cheese scrambled Sometimes 2 slices bacon 1/2 cup berries w/cream snack: celery with peanut butter lunch is chicken salad on greens 1 1/2 oz almonds snack: cottage cheese 1/2 cup with 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce Dinner is chicken breast non starchy vegatables 1/2 baked potato around 10pm I'll have the peanut butter and celery again. Is this too much? the book says eat as much protein and non starchy veggies as you like, just watch carbs. Also I walk 1-2 miles 3-4 times per week. |
Hmmm....
Your menu looks good...though I hope you are getting more variety than that! I would ask: - are you eating enough calories (10-12x body weight)? - are you eating enough fat? (60-70% of calories from fat is not unusual for low-carbing) Have you tried running your menus through fitday.com to see if you are? Are you drinking enough water? What is your dieting history? Losing and regaining the same weight again and again can make it more difficult to lose at the beginning. You don't have a lot to lose so it might be very slow. How realistic is your goal weight? Is the walking enough exercise for you? Are you really getting a good workout? Have you considered weight training? Lisa |
