Cravings are getting worse

I'm getting back into my old habit of just plain eating too much food. It's all foods allowable on LoCarb, I'm just simply eating too much. I don't know how to fight this craving, it's certainly not hunger. I've haven't felt hungry since I started lcing in August. Any ideas?

I do the same thing---so let's just stop. Whenever I find myself doing something like that I think "I can control myself, I'm an adult. What worked for me before can work for me now, and there's no reason to get sloppy with my diet"

We can do it:)

How about eating a small amount but more often? It is suggested that eating every few hours keeps things stable and also stokes up your metabolism. That might help with cravings to eat more.

Katie,

Are you using Nutrasweet? I quit using it and switched to Splenda and the cravings stopped.

Hi KatieB ;)

What exactly do you crave? If you just want to eat, maybe you should just eat?

I eat the same amount now as I did before I started this diet.

The difference is what you eat. I used to snack on high carb things. Now I raid the fridge for lumps of cheese, pieces of cooked meat, pickled onions and hard boiled eggs.

This diet is not about going without, it's about eating the right things.

It's hard to get rid of years of feeling bad about eating lots if you've been on other diets before. But it is one little demon we can live without.

Enjoy life...and enjoy eating!

Regards,

Robert
