Smirnoff's Thin Ice
It is very good! Our liquor store person said they can hardly keep up with the demand. They think Sminoff will come out with "flavors" by next year.
Long Beach Brewing Company introduces a new malt beverage targeted to health conscious consumers looking to maintain a low-carb lifestyle. With just one carb and 90 calories, the lowest combination of calories and carbs available in a beer or malt beverage, Long Beach's newest creation, Thin Ice, weighs in lighter than popular summer drinks including Mike's Hard Lemonade (36 carbs, 260 calories) and Smirnoff Ice, (32 carbs, 228 calories), as well as the newly introduced Michelob Ultra (2.6 carbs, 95 calories). Sugar-free Thin Ice is made with Splenda, a no calorie sweetener, to produce a great tasting citrus malt beverage. It contains 4.2 percent alcohol, the average amount contained in a light beer. Thin Ice is available in six-pack bottles for $6.99 at retail outlets and also many bars and restaurants. It is supported by a "Thin Ice, Get On It" promotional campaign including radio, print and on-and-off premise promotions. (PR Newswire |
Opps! I don't now if Long Beach Brewing Company and Smirnoff's are one and the same. So just ask for Thin Ice, sorry for the confusion.

This is pretty good. It's a little blah, but I find if you add a shot of SF lemon or lemon lime syrup then it's almost like drinking a Skyy Blue.
The summer won't be ruined after all! |
