Can someone check this?

http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/Public...l?Owner=m0bster

and tell me if Im on the right track here? Is there anything I should change? I KNOW Im changing the bacon tomorrow because It is giving me a headache every day. Any advice on this for the induction? Am I on track or WAY off?

Hiya Mobster (you're not really one, are you? :D),

It looks fine to me, although you could eat more vegies! At least a cup of nonsalad veg.

The 20g Dr A gives, assumes you will be having cream, possibly 4 oz cheese and avocado, olives etc. Remember, too, that Fitday doesn't subtract fibre carbs, so your carb level is quite low. Not a big drama, but I just figure that you may as well eat all you're allowed! :)

As for the headaches, they sound exactly like the classic Induction headaches to me! They'll disappear within a day or two, bacon or no bacon.

All the best, mate, keep up the good work!

Looks like you're on the right track. Carbs under 20g total, good. Cheese limited to 4oz, good. Lettuce, good. You might want to add some low carb veggies other than lettuce & onion. If you're not taking any vitamins/supplements, add that to get the nutrients you're missing from the veggies. It would also be good to add some regular exercise to your program, even if only 15 minutes- every little bit helps. Good luck.
God Bless,
Amy-Lynne

Looks like you are on track to me. BUT!!!! I don't see any liquids listed.....are you drinking water? If so, how much?

Looks like ya aleady got the veggie lecture, so I won't go there.

Now for my .02 - WATER, WATER, WATER.
Water will help flush the toxins out of your system and make weight loss easier AND all that running to the tinkletorium is exercise.

Keep up the good work.

Flushing vitamins?

Hi all,

Carrollee, won't all this water (I'm drinking and drinking) also flush out water soluable vitamins like B complex and C, etc.?

Do you take vitamins throughout the day to compensate for this?

m0bster Thu, Feb-13-03 19:17

Water? Im about to drown myself here. I KNOW I drink at LEAST 2 gallons a day. I LOVE water, always have...always will. I have never drank THIS much daily though...and Im going to the bathroom a LOT with all of the water drinkin goin on!

Hi Arrow,

I would have to say yes, drinking water does also flush out water soluble vitamins, but they are not readily stored in our tissues to begin with. Frequent replenishment is necessary either through the foods we eat or supplements.

I do take supplements - 2x daily. Morning and evening, generally with a small amount of high fat food such as cheese and a large glass of water.

Happy LC'ing

Carrollee
