woohooo - cholesterol results
 

Just had to share this... I was kind of worried since Id never had my cholesterol tested before. Had it done last week....my doctor just called....

LDL 68
HDL 54
Trig. 32

He said that I have the lowest triglycerides he has ever seen in his practice. It was at that moment I informed him that I had been on ATKINS since August and had lost 20 lbs. He said "well your results are great!" WOOHOO..... another Atkins triumph!!!!

I'm going to see my Dr. in a couple of weeks. I'm sure he'll want to do bloodwork. I'll have been on Atkins 6 weeks by then, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

That's wonderful! My Tri's went down 136 points in 3 months!!!
Bones- usually the doctors wait until 3 months to do blood tests, for more acurate results.

Thanks for the info Alli. I've heard that my Dr. is now a big fan of Atkins, so it will be interesting to hear what he has to say.

Darn I wish you knew what your Cholesterol was b4 Atkins. Cholesterol is a touchy subject with me...I have to get retested at the end of the month.
