Torani Syrup
Just stopped at Cost Plus and found Torani Syrup made with Splenda. Big 25,4 like Davinci but only $5.00. Great taste bought Sugar Free Caramel and made Carmel Frappuccino.......I had to find a sub for my favorite drink.
I posted the in the recipes section but here it is also. It was great. I missed those stops at Starbucks for Caramel Frappuccino. So here's my version. Play around with the this so you get the taste you like. 1 cup ice 2 espresso shots decaf of course. I use starbucks espresso 1-2 T. Torani or Divinci Sugar Free Caramel Syrup Optional: 1 T. Torani or Davinci Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup 1-2 T. Cream Put in Blender |
Just a quick note re the Torani:
Which Cost Plus (which State or even Country?); you don't have your location listed on your profile, Cheez Whiz, so the rest of us can't tell where. Also, the Torani uses glycerine in their formula. Not necessarily a problem, but just so everybody knows that there is another difference between Torani and DaVinci... some folks are a bit sensitive to the stuff, though it's in small amounts. |
Too cool SF flavored syrups discovery!
I've been meaning to check out DaVinci syrups for awhile now, and this afternoon had a chance to go to World Market where I heard they were sold. Well, DaVinci wasn't on the shelf, but a brand called Torani was with several SF flavors. I bought French Vanilla, Chocolate, and Carmel. Considered the Black Cherry but decided to wait until next time. The great discovery was this: they are made with SPLENDA!!!
Now, if only I can find that DaVinci post from a couple of weeks ago where people posted all those great things to do with it.... The Beachmum happily sipping her French Vanilla decaf coffee right now! Yeah!!! |
Well, I found that other post and feel a bit stupid as DaVinci syrups are Splenda as well. Guess I'll try not to feel too bad as you all probably know what it means to be Atkins Crazy!!!
