Kitchen Equipment Hack: The Garlic Press
 

My favourite new kitchen hack is to use my garlic press for things other than garlic. I tend to dislike chunks of certain veggies in what I'm eating, especially when it's a rude awakening to bite into it, and the garlic press is perfect for this. I've used it for:

- raw ginger (as well as the garlic) for a curry
- jarred jalapeno rings in a dip
- raw onion in the same dip
- cucumbers in tzatziki

This is particularly handy when you're only making 1-2 servings, like I normally do. :thup:
