I have been back on Atkins now for over THREE weeks now! Yeah for me! I am back in the gym as of TODAY. TODAY: I did 30 minutes cardio to start and lifted over 13,000 pounds on my training. My goal is to go as close to 5+ a week! Recreational.. I also swam for 40 minutes with my six kids. That has to count for something. |
Today I did the tread mill for about 30 minutes
The intensity was high I would do an 8 incline at 2.6-7 for two minutes then go back to zero. I only went 1.13 miles but my legs where really working and twitching afterwards. Heart rate was up to 170 then down to 150... |
Well, I worked out on the treadmill again this morning. I did some serious inclines and so on.
Then I did my weight training. With my weight training I am doing : Leg press 130lbs Hip Adduction (inner thigh) 80 lbs Hip Abduction (outer thigh) 75lbs Glute (this is a new one) 51? I have to look as it is a new machine I just added. Chest Press 35 lbs Wide Grip front (upper back) 50lbs Shoulder Press 25lbs Bicep Curl (again another new one) Tricep Extension ("") Lower back 80lbs Torso Rotatio 55lbs Ab crunch 12.5 WHIMPY!!! Now I did all this today. I think I am going to start doing legs and tummy one day and the next arms. That way I am not doing my WHOLE body! I feel great today.. a little tired as TOM approaches but good! after wieghts I did about 5 minutes on the ellipticle. I find that machine hard to do and so.. there you have it. |
I worked out 30 minutes today... I did a 4 incline as long as I could.. I went 1.33 miles in 33 minutes burned 300 something calories.
I'll post my weigh in in my jounral.. it's good news. |
I am so irritated. I was going to lift today BUT the Y doesn't have child care on Sundays.. ACK! So tomorrow I start my new exercise class. Hopefully I'll have time to lift after wards. :)

I was on the tread mill for 30 minutes. I did a lot of hills. At one point I went to level 15 on a hill and slowed the walk down to a 1 and lunged it out for about 2 minutes. It was great. I worked hard today!

I am tired today. I worked in my garden ALL Day yesterday and worked out late. So today.. I didn't push myself on the TM... I did 30 minutes though...

Chest Press 35 lbs Shoulder Press 25lbs Bicep Curl (again another new one) Tricep Extension ("") Wide Grip front (upper back) 50lbs I will be starting a new program tomorrow - I am excited! |
So now my new work out will consist of a 10 minute warm up and then go do weights. IN between weights I will sprint for a cardio and work SUPER hard for 4 minutes. Therefore spiking my heart rate. My weights have changed too. I'll update that later.
