Weight loss time frame

Help! Can anyone tell me at this phase of my current weight and what I have left to lose, what is the average time frame to meet goal. I am fairly level on my carbs 20-25 a day, 60 minutes of exercise 6 days a week, 8 glasses of water daily YUK!, and 99% of time am on program. Any idea? I seem to lose 1lb about every 10 days, Is that ok?

I'd say that sounds about right, from what others have said about their own experiences.

Sounds 'bout right. You are probably gaining muscle mass to, from exercising. That happened to me. Are you keeping measurements? You might be losing inches, not pounds.

I'm feeling just a little discouraged myself. I was losing fast, the first month. These last couple of weeks have been very slow. Only about 3 of pounds. I'm wondering if I shouldn't just leave the induction phase and move to the next one. I don't exercise that much, though. I should increase that. It might help.

Hugaby, that sounds right around perfect! As you're getting closer to your goal weight your body isn't going to lose as quickly, and as mentioned, you may be gaining muscle mass from all the exercise. Sounds good to me! :)

Genisis, when weight loss slows it does tend to get discouraging, but take it from me--just hang in there because it will be sooooo worth it in the end! I hit a three-month stall, no weight loss, no inches lost, and wanted to give up a few times. Then I considered the weight I'd already lost, and how nice it is to have my blood sugar under control and thought, 'No way am I quitting this!' Now the scales are moving again.

We go through these times but we didn't put this weight on overnight, so it's not likely it's going to leave us that quickly, either. :)

And yes, moving your carbs up a little bit wouldn't hurt at all. I do pretty well if I keep mine between 30-40. That way I get plenty of fiber and loads of excellent veggies with a few nuts and berries added for their wonderful flavor and nutrient benefits.

Thanks to all of you. Im glad Im in the normal range! I feel better just impatient. Patience is NOT my virtue never has been. OK, thanks again.
