The food pyramid looks great!

Wishful thinking. :[

It may be wishful thinking....but I'm glad to have an official-looking example to use in teaching my children proper nutrion. I don't have to have the USDA support it to live by it or teach my children it's the healthiest way to eat. Just the fact that it's been created and presented to officials is a great first step.

I know that I've read where Atkins has tried to get the USDA version revised, but, we've never seen anything as an example from Atkins. Until now!!! |
The thing I both liekd and worried about is wher ein the article they spoke about there may end up being a number of perimids and for different people. This is good because many people do need more individualized plans. It worries me though becaus eI have a sneaky feeling that kids in schools that serve "USDA approved menus" will still be getting the piramid full of cheap carbs and sugar.

a-MEN to that!!

This is great. I made a color copy and put it up in our break room. (im spreading the word of my cult according to my office mate!!)

I was wondering what it would look like if the popular media put together a low carb pyramid...
