mexican food?

i am going to a mexican restaurant that my friend works at tommorow, so it should be easy to order the food exactly how i want it, but im not sure what will be available. i know that they probably have fajitas, as does every mexican food restaurant - would it be safe to get this, and ditch the tortillas? what about the green peppers/onions? sour cream? maybe someone can give me some ideas on how/what to order as im sure they serve a variety. thanks! :)

I get the steak or chicken fajitas-no beans, rice or tortillas, and lots of sour cream.
I have also had the chili verde, chili colorado or shrimp with bacon. They may have other steak dinners too. Good luck!

this may seem like a dumb question but - the green peppers and onions are allowed right? i mean, according to the induction guide you can have up to 1 cup of onions?

Yes :) Green Peppers are very good for you on this diet, if I remember correctly. The onions have a slightly bigger carb count, but nothing noticable, and it should not effect you.

You could also have any chicken wings....

Not breaded! :)

Onions are quite high in carbs actually - like 14 carbs a cup. I wouldn't worry though when you eat them as part of a meal - you'll probably only have a quater of a cup or something. Green peppers are great and sour cream is fine too!
Have a great meal - I'm STARVING now!
