Zone = LC ???

Hi!

As I don't want to start with a rather radical aproach as Atkins for example, I thought about trying "The Zone".
What I am irritated about is how it can be called LOWCARB.
40% of carbs are quite a lot I think, and 30% fat are definitely LOWFAT. Perhaps I am completely wrong, but I would like somebody to explain me this thing.
Thanks.

I think compared to the amount of carbs that most people -- especially Americans! -- eat every day, which can be 300, 400, or more, The Zone is low carb.

There are other options to Atkins, though. You might want to look at Protein Power, which allows a bit of fruit and a higher carbohydrate allowance (40 grams a day on the weight loss phase).

We have a forum that's called Plan Comparisons -- each plan is summarized. Why not take a peak there?

Good luck!
