Proprietary diet plans

Recently we have had a few angry exchanges in discussing proprietary diet plans (Dr. B, Fatlocity etc.).

After discussing this matter among all moderators, we have voted unanimously to not support such diet plans.

1. With plans that are not published and require fees/private consultation, we simply do not have access or the knowledge to discuss them.

2. Discussing them seems to always generate heated discussion, flames and don't contribute much to our forum.

3. As we are very proud of our friendly atmosphere, supportive nature and keeping things flame-free and Spam-free, we have opted to make this hard choice.

4. This is not intended as a slam against such diets, we neither encourage them nor discourage them. we simply do not support them, and support of such plans can be obtained from their respective centres.

We have sent this by email to members advocating such plans, and some have requested to be removed from our forum.

We realize this may not be popular with some members, but we cannot please everyone, and do not wish to repeat these flame wars, pro or against unpublished plans.

I'd be glad to sell my plan. Do you think a bag of pork rinds is too much to charge? :D
