CA Star 98.7 FM -- listen to the Jamie & Danny Show?
 

I was just curious if anyone here listens to the Jamie & Danny morning show on STAR 98.7 out of LA?

I used to live in Denver, where Jamie White had a show with two other guys (Frosty and Frank). They moved to LA, and shortly after, they replaced the other guys with Danny Bonaduce. They continued to broadcast the show in Denver.

Now, living in Chicago, I listen to the show on a live internet stream.

Danny used to be a low-carb supporter -- but now Krispy Kream is one of their sponsors.

Hi GrlyGrl, Yep I have been listening to them since their first day, every morning on my way to work. They make a great team. I'm in Orange County Southern California.

I try to listen to the live stream once I get to work, but my computer always crashes, do you have that problem?

I lose the stream occassionally -- but if I clear out the internet cache it helps a ton!

Apparently, Monica (the girl who answers their phone) is trying Atkins now -- I am so curious how she'll do and if she does it correctly.

I've tried clearing out the cache... :( but it doesn't help.

I didn't hear that part about Monica trying Atkins, but I am amazed at how many people don't know what the heck their doing when they try Atkins. And I still get grief about low carbing.
But I have never felt better in my life!

Bummer! I have had to reinstall the media player a couple of times.

I am very fortunate that I can listen to it all morning. Being able to access it helped ease my homesickness when I moved to Chicago.

When I lose all my excess weight I am going to make myself an "I Have A Pretty Kitty" t-shirt with a beadazzler :p and go out on the town Jamie-style! Sans marlot, of course.

Yep I've reinstalled it too :( So I've decided to buy a little portable radio one of these day's. Hopefully the hills won't interfere with the reception.

Do you listen to Ryan Seacrest? He is adorable, but what a strange personality!

Hahaha :lol: I like that idea about the shirt. So is Jamie still dating Fancy Pants or is that over with again? I can't keep up with that girl!

The Fancy Pants thing is over...for now! She seems to be pretty sinlge except for an occasional tryst with Neighbor Boy.

I predict that she'll become a lot less picky about men in the next year -- she'll be 35 in December and I know she wants to have kids. But, I kind of hope she stays single forever -- it helps me feel ok to still be single myself!

By the time Ryan Seacrest starts his show I am on my way out the door on my way home, so I don't listen to his show. But I have heard that he has his eyelashes dyed so that they "pop" - I love when Jamie and Danny make fun of him. They were talking about him a lot yesterday...about how he was an example of the new Metropolitan Man. (A Metro Man is a guy who is straight but goes to spas, gets highlights, pedicures, etc.)

Never been married...no kids either (I do not hear my biological clock ticking though). I don't think I'll ever get married if I don't lose my excess weight -- it seems to be impossible for men to overlook it. Are you married? Kids?

I can sort of imagine Jamie with kids....but I would worry about them! I think she expects kids to be like her cat, Clifford -- very low maintenance.

I'm on my 2nd marriage, and I have 1 son. Not all men care about how much you weigh, but you just gotta find where they hide out at. :)

And if she had kids you just know she will invent something for kids so she can put it on her website and try to sell it.
