Lotsawater's exercise log

I'm not sure if I'm starting this right, but I am going to start tracking my workouts here. I was doing it in My Plan, but it doesn't give options for notes.

Here is MyPlan workout log so far:

Before I started logging my exercises, I wasn't doing low carb and I would get really hungry, so I basically ate what I wanted thinking since I was exercising, I would be fine. I definitely notice a difference when low carb and exercising. I have a lot more energy and don't get that hungry.

I've noticed that I have a drive now to want to exercise like every day. I've done low carb before in 2004 and lost about 40 pounds, but I didn't exercise except for a walk to the bus stop and climbing stairs to the parking garage.

I feel much more stronger now and clothes are fitting nicer. Weight isn't really moving that much, but I'm waiting for my whoosh!

weight lifting class is the Les Mills Body Pump routines.

Yoga really strengthens my core and legs and makes me more flexible

I think Pilates is getting too easy for me, and I need to try the more advanced moves.

Step is my favorite class and I wish they offered more classes besides 3 times a week. Oh, but I could do more, since I have my online workout videos. They have all my favorite workouts. It's just different working out alone.

I notice when I first started exercising, I had to eat something before (I chose a banana) or I wouldn't make it through class without resting. I'm not finding that anymore. Also, I don't get as sore as the first week I started. It was bad, I could barely move without being in pain. I guess that's what you get for not exercising for so long.

cheers

Yesterday I went to pilates, and I was the only one in class with a new instructor that didn't take any long breaks. It was intense and challenging. I was afraid it was going to be too easy yesterday with just doing pilates. It was a good workout. Tonight, I go to body pump. I'm a little tired, because I stayed up until 630am this morning and got about 2 hours of sleep that was a complete vivid dream. I don't feel like I slept at all. I have no idea why I stayed up. I guess I just lost track of time.

Went to Yoga and step today. I'm getting better at holding the Yoga poses and for step, I'm making it through class, started out strong, and then with 15 minutes left of class, I had to really push myself. Totally spent after class and dripping sweat, but it feels good to get the work out.

I ate some banana chips before going to the gym. I hadn't eaten anything all day and knew I needed to force myself to eat something for the energy.

Ugh, the long weekend didn't help my workout routine. I couldn't keep up very well in Step today after Yoga. I had to take a bunch of breaks. I'm getting better at holding the poses in Yoga. I think I'd like to do another Yoga class this week. I did one online on Friday, but it was only 30 minutes.

I'm really enjoying the Yoga class and want to try to get another one for the week. I feel much stronger in my core. My clothes fit really well with my flattened tummy, and even my arms and chest are getting a good workout from the Yoga class. I was looking at some of the moves online to see how I could get the technique down better and it looks like this class is for Bikram yoga, but it's not a hot studio. MyPlan doesn't seem to have that type listed. I'll have to look it up later.

Had a hard time keeping my energy up in step, but I got through it. I think I'm going to have to take a class on the weekend if I want the same great energy I have for the Thursday classes.
