"Last day" default & "Unread posts" Problems

Hi Tamarian:

I'm having 2 problems.

I'm noticing that when I click on my profile link to view my subscribed threads, that the view for the "last day" default doesn't show me all the threads posted in the last day. It's left me having to continually change my view manually to "last 2 days" so I don't miss posts.

I've also noticed some inconsistency with the "go to first unread" link. Sometimes the link won't appear even though there are posts that I haven't read. Sometimes, it's the opposite where the post has been read, but the link appears (not such a biggie). Then there are also times where I will have 2 posts, 1 is at the bottom of the 2nd last page in my journal and the other is at the top of the last page of my journal. When I click "go to first unread", it will ignore the 1st post and take me to the last page of my journal (instead of the 2nd last page). It's left me having to continually scroll back a page to make sure I haven't missed any posts.

I've done a search to see if anything applied but didn't find any resolution.

Thanks,
Wanda

For issue #1, you don't have to select 2 days, just click on "go" where by default it says "last day". I think vB made it like this, so the page won't be too long if you have many subscribed threads, and whish to access your profile page for things other than viewing subscribed threads.

Issue #2, not sure, sounds like a bug and I'll let vB know about it if they don't know about it already.

Hi Tamarian:

OK, that eliminates an extra step. So what's it actually defaulting to? The last number of posts since you logged on last or something? Just curious.

As always, thanks

If you just hit "go", the default the last 24 hours I think.
