What proportions are you eating ?

I have just changed to SDB from Atkins and I was wondering what everyones average daily intake percentages are in order to maintain weight loss. Fat% (obviously the good fats) carbs% and protein%.

The last two days I find that I am very satisfied with the foods but my calories are under 1000 (around 800-900 per day)

Yesterdays cals were 838 carbs 42% protein 33% and fats 25%

I know they say if you dont eat enough you will go into starvation mode but I hate eating for the sake of eating when I am not hungry in the slightest.

To bump my cals up last night I added a stoneground slice of bread with peanut butter, but still daily cals were way under what it should be.

I started in phase 2 as I had just finished Atkins induction.

I am interested in what other SDB'ers percentages are - whilst appreciating everyones different and what works for some wont for others.

low cals is allright to do but imho yours too low i lost weight just staying between 1200 cals but i did keep my sat fats low

example of % average range (when i lost weight)

fat 20-30%
carb 40-50%
protein 30-40%

south beach is low in sat fats so mono counts usually is or should be higher than sat fats

these days on maintenance i eat around 1800 cals (more or less on a lucky day)
