Up a Dreaded Pound...
Today is day 9..and I was up a pound..I will try and not let it get to me..I went to the gym this morning and did my 45 mins on the treadmill and lifted weights. Maybe I need to NOT weigh again until induction is over? That might help. I was up slightly over 20 yesterday..but am back on track this morning...
Good luck to everyone.... Laura |
On the other hand...
... you could think of it as an additional pound of muscle. Wonderful, sleek, hungry muscle! Greet it like a long lost friend, invite it in and treat it well!

Scale

That was very informative..and I saved it so I can refer back to it.. Laura |
Laura,
I understand how you are feeling. I am also up a lb (well yesterday I think). I've been going to the gym, drinking my water, eating on plan... and still went up a lb. arrgghh  That is a great article that Karen sent in.. and I love the idea Brett that it is muscle.. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone.. Tawnya |
It does help!
Hi Tawnya,
You are right..it does help. That is one of the reasons I like this forum so much..everyone is so supportive of one another. I will keep going just like I have been..and I know it will come off..maybe not just as fast as I would like.. ;) You keep up the good work!! Laura |
Up a pound
I was up four pounds the day before yesterday, and considered feeling discouraged, and not even writing it down. Then I decided to track it, and the next day I was down two of the pounds, then today another two.
I am just looking at it as part of the process, and part of daily weighing-in. ;) |
