Miller lite

I really like my beer and hated giving it up during induction. After I finished induction, I broke down and picked up a 12 pack of Miller lite. I figured the 3 carbs per beer into my daily carb count and so far I haven't gained and haven't lost any weight, but I feel my clothes fitting more loosely than before. I am still in ketosis and I eat all of the right foods but my weigt loss seems to be at a standstill. I know this is a no brainer and that I should probably give up the beer, but I was wondering if anyone out there has had success losing wile drinking lite beer in moderation?

Hic no

The problem that I have found is that lite beer is not a patch on real ale which I used to love. And who can stop at just one can! So I had to give up beer completely.

A few cans and your carb allowance is shot and you are not getting the nutrional value either.

So now that I am well through induction I drink red wine instead -which is beneficial in a number of ways.

Sometimes I have been known to down the odd glass of Scotch, which has no carbs at all. (yes I know that alcohol acts like a sugar and is burnt first and will put fat burning on hold but....I digress).

I do this knowingly - it is a lifestyle issue - and I ssshould know.
I am not as thunk as you drink I am.
