How to get rid of the lumps in cottage cheese
 

Hi,

I'm gonna make a cheesecake w/ part cottage cheese & cream cheese. I don't have a blender. Is there anyway I can get rid of all the lumps in the cottage cheese?

I do have an electric mixer though.

have you got a sieve ? Ive used metal and nylon sieve for this.
press through with a metal spoon. Its quite hard work :( but turns out well :) the mixer wont really do the trick.
