I'd like to find out what most of you use as chat/messenger software. You'll see below my ICQ icons. These can be replaced by either AIM or Yahoo. Once we find out which one is mostly used, we can create a chat room using that particular software?

Let me know if you like the idea, and which software you prefer!

Thanks,

Wa'il

Hi Tamarian
For me, it's ICQ.. I find it very easy, fast, and user-friendly. I also have AOL Instant Messanger, but I still perfer ICQ.

Sounds unanimous! ICQ it is.

Next question, for those who have ICQ plus other software:

Do you prefer to list the icons for all the tools you have on the bottom of your posts or just ICQ?

[I have enabled them all for now, just so you'll see what it looks like, and we can take them off]

Hehe, well it's only fair after all the coffee I brought to your desk!

Re: chat, the idea is simply to have scheduled chats, maybe weekly or on demand, and times will be posted here for those who are available and would feel like it.

ICQ????

Well all this has inspired me to start up the ol' ICQ, which hasn't been running since spring sometime(?)... I been busy <grin!> and it was giving me grief when I wanted to play Canasta (another thing I haven't had time for lately).

However, the little beast just cranked up fine on this old P133 mere 32mb Win95 antique of mine, so I guess I'll have to get back in the swing of things. Hmmmmmm, how do I set this up now...... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
