macadamia nuts in induction?

I read DANDR and in it he states no nuts during the first 2 weeks of induction. I am now in my fourth week and have added these nuts as a snack daily. I eat about 2 ounces at a time. The nutrition label has one ounce as 3 carbs w/2 g of fiber. Does this mean I am only taking in 1 carb per ounce? I have not gained weight since doing this, in fact lost 1 lb. Also, the fiber has helped me big time, if you know what I mean.

Just wanted your thoughts on this!

I ate Macademia nuts from week 2 and truly felt that they helped me reach my "fat" %..... of course, I must limit myself (2 oz) or I can easily eat the whole jar in one shot.

They are so easy to overindulge on, thats for sure. But am I figuring the carbs right. Can I minus the fiber from the carbs to get only 1 gram of carbs per oz?

Yes, I think that is right. Subtract the grams of fiber from the carbs to get your net carbs.

I was at the store looking today and they had the house brand of macadamias, which were stale and icky last time I tried them. Then they had brand B, which was in regular roasted salted and honey roasted. For some reason the honey roasted was less then half the price of the regular. I was looking for the kind in the blue can (Mauna lau?). They had them mixed with cashews, and in mixed nuts, but not just macadamias. There were chocolate covered macadamias, chotolate toffee macadamias, and dark chocolate macadamias. Just the perfect food there, high fat and high carb/sugar :P

I love nuts, especially Macdamia nuts. Yes, you take the fiber from the total catb count. Making them 1 carb per 1 oz serving. Costco has a large can that are fairly cheat.
