Sure Sign of Addiction
I guess if we learn from goofing up then it is a good thing.
I had "a forbidden food" a few days ago and realize it makes me ravenous. It makes me want to eat more and more. I know both sides of the coin now. |
High-carb eating
That is exactly what I find. Everytime I "cheat", even if my total carbs for the day is within my limits, I find that the next day I cannot get enough to eat!!!!
Guess we have to decide if the "cheat" is worth it :spin: |
:daze:
I sure learned my lesson over Christmas. I thought that taking a day off here and there for special things would be okay and that I would just go right back on it. It worked somedays but there were times I couldn't get back to task no matter what. It ended up giving me a nasty stall too once I did get back on. It wasn't worth it at all! Cindi |
I was hoping that my cravings for sweets would go away after a sucessful induction of 3 weeks, but i find myself falling off wagon more and more frequently. i can resist bread and potatoes and rice and chips and pasta  but if I see a donut or a cookie, I'm on it. Will this ever go away?

It will only go away if the reason not to eat the bad foods is becomes greater than the desire.
It's a learning experience. |
you just reminded me of a saying I first heard at a weight watchers meeting years ago. "10 seconds on the lips, but forever on the hips" I'm going to try to bring this to mind next tinme I go to grab a cookie. thanks
