Carb smart popsicles

I bought a box of these (10) yesteday, and theyre totally finished. THeyre the creamsicles with 0 carbs. I think that will be the last box of low carb substitutes i buy because for some reason im just not sure its reall low carb and i use it as an excuse to over eat. Has anyone bought these. Does it break Ketosis?

I don't care whether or not they break ketosis - I want some!!!!!
Do you think they would melt by the time they got down here???

dustbunny Mon, Nov-07-05 07:54

 I have had them I get them from Walmart. I love the fudgsicles. If I don't overdo it they don't seem to break my ketosis. I suppose everyone works differently though. I keep meaning to buy sf ice cream but I'm actually afraid of it :|.

I use the sugar free popcilces. Less calories and 2 carbs per pop.

Learn well your trigger enemies and keep them away. I can't go near LC tortillas (big sigh here) or any LC ice cream treats.

Not worth the taste

I get nasty intestinal symptoms that are completely not worth the fleeting taste. For today, I'm staying out of that aisle completely. Goes for all those products, pretty much.

i cannot really control myself and low carbs or not they still have so many empty calories in them its just not worth it. Besides I think my body goes out of ketosis if I consume l/c treats because it does think of sugar alcohol as a carb.

It's OK for me...

The Wal-Mart kind with O carbs are wonderful, and since they are packaged separately, I know I'm going to stop at one. Half gallons of lc ice cream are dangerous. LC fudgsicles at 3 carbs are OK, but that's where I draw the line. Overdoing anything with sugar alcohol is an intestinal nightmare (I still remember a small bag of sf caramels and the aftermath and won't touch them). But I'm still losing OK and I limit myself to one fudgsicle or creamsicle any evening. Some people are more reactive to sugar alcohol. See what happens.

Sbear,

I just learned my lesson about LC Tortillas
this week too. I had bought em for bean and
turkey tacos or burritos with onions and tomatoes
and bell pepper, BUT...

I found them so tasty I started eating them for
snacks and at $4.00 per a package of 8 I soon
found myself out of tortillas and full of guilt for
having essentially binged on the things. Fortunately they are only 80 cal for each BIG ONE.

I bought 10 low carb tortillas off the web, inc. p&p charge might aswell have bought some new shoes! Any way, I have been really careful w them, they are only 30 cals each which just makes me think I could potentially gobble down 5 for dinner!
The only thing that stops me is the reciept that I got with them! Everytime I eat one I wince- theyr sooooooooooo good though, better than carby ones, theyr moister- i like it!

I love the creamsicles! Just bought 2 boxes yesterday at Walmart. Only 25 calories each & ZERO carbs! I still registered dark purple on the ketostix this morning so they didnt throw me out.

Yes, they ARE wonderful -- but as you can see, limiting to one portion is impossible for so many of us.

LC ice cream is my weakness. I cannot bring it into the house or I will eat it... every day... and WAY more than the 1/2 cup serving.

Indulge with caution!

Lc wraps with a bit of butter, cinnamon and splenda rolled up and heated in micro....oh boy...it was trouble for me.
