Turkey drumsticks
 
I bought theese huge drumsticks to make for my DH..They are 2 pounds a peice. I have never cooked theese before, only a whole turkey.Lets just say "Im" not a hot turkey kinda gal.But he is amajor fan. Cooking instructions needed. Thank you.

Oil and season the drumsticks as you would any chicken dish. Roast them in a slow over 325 degrees F for about 75-90 minutes. You can also cover them for the baking time and then uncover to brown. Test for doneness at the end of the cooking time.

I like to coat them with salt, pepper, herbs - sage, thyme or rosemary are naturals with turkey - and sliced garlic then let them sit overnight. It really helps to tenderize the meat and maked it more juicy. The next day wash off the spices, dry them and roast them as above.
