My name is Sigmund and I vant to talk to you about your farder.

Please lie on zee couch and vee shall begine.

Firstly how long since you hab been taking zee less carbs.

I see.....

Vell my dear I tink you are having zee repressed glucose ego reaction. In this werry rare condition der lack of insulin interacts with the oestrogen production and causes a prostaglandin rush resulting in a super ego confusion of the mind

Der warm glow feeling and der sweating at night is not unfortunateley the sexual drive or the id in hyperactivity but, my liebshing, the bursting of the hot water bottle.

I wish to pursue der meaning of your dreams in a positive manner and advise low carb bromide in your tea which should help your husband sleep at night.

Vat ever you do, keeping taking the sauekrout and sausage (sorry, freudian slip) and that will be 2000 marks.

I've been away for a couple days myself .. BUT my big question is, IS he low-carbing as well??? Perhaps the decreased insulin and sugar, plus the energy-enhancing effects of ketosis ........ not to mention the potential in a candle-lit steak dinner with an exotic salad ... will be helpful and beneficial to all concerned.

There IS such a thing as Matching Libidos. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you ;)

re: sex and low carbing

I agree with you. I have noticed that change in myself as well. I have to say...I can not believe the difference low carbing has made in my life in the short time I have been doing it. I was originally doing another low carb diet. I started a little over a week and a half ago. I transitioned into Atkins last weekend. Within the first few days, my depression was gone (it was pretty major)..my energy increase and i felt a "mental clarity" like none I have ever known. This has really changed my life. People ask me how i have stayed on the diet w/o cheating. I have no desire whatsoever to go off this way of eating. I am a life timer. They cant bottle how good i feel and i dont plan on giving it up. Thanks to everyone for your posts and your support. This place is great.

no! he is not low carbing and he don"t believe in low carbing
he is also a great cook and guess what? he is now cooking all my favorite foods hoping i will eat it, what he don't know (or he should know is that i am a stubborn person i go for what i want with afull barrel :) ;) we have been married for 26 years)
when he cooks i only eat the meat make my salad and vegeyables
and drink water or diet rite soda, he is not home when i eats so he think i am eating his food :D :D sex! oh boy!!

normally for me,

I normally have a raging libido like a man, WHEN i normally eat a lot of carbs and sugar, my husband is the opposite. The more sugar the more I want to have sex add alcohol ad look out. Ever since I've been low carbing I have no libido. Any one else experiencing that?
