Ok, now that diet is changed and I am monitoring some of my vitals, it must mean it is time for the most horrid of all words in the English language ... EXERCISE...
I started a journal for the food part. I signed into the forums for the community part. Now I will start here for the fitness part. I used to be a runner years ago, let's see if I can do it again, like the old guys (well older than me) that went wizzzz'ing past me on the trail I was walking on today. First, walking. I have a fitbit, so I will use it. Later today I will log the first walk and go from there. |
I had never been able to stick to an exercise plan until I got my Fitbit. That was 3 years ago and I've walked at least 2 miles first thing in the morning every day (barring travel days) since. Something about it helped me stick. Maybe it will work for you, too.

4/8/17 Took first steps today (literally) walked 9,119 steps according to my fitbit. I will post every day for while until I get used to the routine to keep myself honest.

Starting to count steps...
Starting to count my steps using the fitbit. The weekend was not bad, but now I am going to have to figure out how to incorporate walking into the work week.
