Inspired by a friend!
 

Greetings to all Low-Carbers! My best friend is having tons (no pun intended) of success with her low-carb program. Between the excitement over her diminishing body, and finding your site this morning, I'm ready to make a commitment to shedding the pounds that have climbed onboard over the past two years. Today begins the journey!
My life is blessed with three active teenagers; wolfing down fast food enroute to the next stop on the schedule and/or grabbing something quick late at night, has gotten to be our way of life.
Added to our hectic lifestyle is the fact that my oldest left for college in June, and a very good friend lost her son in a drowning eariler this summer. Needless to say, between the blues and our schedule, good old mom is starting to look like Petunia Pig.
It's good to know that support will be here when I need it. Ultimately, my hope is that I will be able to offer support to others, as the weight falls away.
