Has anyone had no weight gain when eating the Atkins bars/shakes?

I am just wondering because I have actually had a few and it hasn't seemed to make me gain. Maybe it made me slow down(11lbs in 3 weeks) but hey I'm okay with that.

Really, is there anyone out there who has eaten the bars and had the shakes and not had it affect your weight loss?

Do you think exercise has any effect on this? I exercise almost daily. :hyper:

Thanks a bunch you guys. Peace.

Diets and shaeks

Sushigal, I have also been eating the bars and drinking the shakes. I will know tomorrow when I weigh in if I have stalled. I hope not, because I like them and they help when you really need something sweet.

Good luck!

hi!
yeah I think that those bars and candies stall me but, its worth it something has to keep me sane! I have a huge sweet tooth and the low carb chocolates keep me on the straight. Just dont do alot only when needed.
becky

I drink shakes every day for breakfast, and I have no problems with them :D As far as exercising, I walk about 4 times a week for around 40 minutes with the DH.

Still waiting for my whoosh

Well, I weighed this morning. Still at 181 for 2 weeks now :( The strange thing is I'm fitting into clothes I haven't been able to wear in a long time! Is it common to lose inches, not pounds? I don't know if it is the bars and shakes. I think I'll cut out the shakes for a while, but I will continue to have an advantage bar, because they help keep me on course. This is just so frustrating!

It is very common to lose inches instead of pounds! After a while the pounds will catch up with you, nothing to worry about! Shortly after induction I was stalled on the scale for 3 weeks, but the inches were falling off. Now the inches are moving very slowly, but the scale is once again on the move! :D

Oh I'm so glad to hear that! I was wondering if something was wrong with the scales. I like losing inches, but I sure would like to see a big drop on the scales.

Thanks for posting the info. I haven't lost anything in two weeks and was beginning to wonder if I am ever going to lose again.

I have been very faithful to counting my carbs, but the scale isn't moving. I can however fit into clothes that were uncomfortable on me before.

Some day my whoosh will come

Does this means we are beginning to replace the fat with lean muscle tissue which is heavier than fat? That would make sense.
