cooked breakfast vs uncooked
Hi all - well on day 3 and struggling a bit with the odd hunger pang - though I know this will go
Had breakfast at 8 and now 11.30 and a bit hungry I had cheddar cheese (about 1oz) and 5 slices salami (thin) today - whereas the other days i have had bacon and scrambled egg. Does anyone notice a difference with hunger if they have a cooked breakfast? Thanks all! :) |
Don't forget to have LC veggies with your CM's and Cs's. The salami may have MSG in it. I know MSG triggers hunger and bloating for me. Also, that doesn't seem like a lot of food (the cheese and salami meal).

Salami also usually has sugar, not to mention tons of salt. Drink extra water to see if that maybe helps. Cheese also has sodium, so the mix may of been a little much.
I love my eggs in the morning. I find times I skip them I start to miss them and look foward to having them the next day :) It's also really easy to slip veggies in with eggs in the form of omlettes or scrambles. |
Saz--I notice the same thing--eggs and bacon tide me over til 3pm but other stuff doesnt stick the same way--we are all so individual--

I agree too. When I don't cook breakfast, I don't stay as full longer.

Eggs AND bacon with veggies tide me over...but I'm trying to cut back on bacon and other cured meats. For the past couple of days I've tried eggs and veggies alone and seem to get hungry a lot faster even though I'm eating three eggs instead of two.

Did I mention I am a former egg hater? I am starting to enjoy omelettes and even hard boiled eggs with mayo. Come to think of it, I used to hate mayo, though that was because I never had the real thing, only that awful fatfree miracle whip junk.
