Fastest Descent

DAMN!!! Couldn't believe it, I carbed from friday night through till sunday night (48 hours) and now monday night, 24 hours later i'm back in ketosis!!!

Sorry just very excited and had to let someone know!!!

realdeal Mon, Oct-21-02 06:15

Thats fast

Did you do anything special to get into ketosis that fast????

After the weekend i add i would need some advise, bag of berry gummies last night at 9pm ended my carb up.

War!!!

All out war was required!

I did an upper body workout sunday night, then a lower body workout monday morning. Plus an hour of low intensity cardio monday night.

But I think the biggest thing was the ALA I was using. I got some MRM 300mg stuff and I think that really helped. Plus I'm real careful and I only eat glucose, glucose polymers, and rice bubbles for the high GI stuff, no sugar!!!

Biddaddy32 youve just answered one of my question.

Thanks a lot.

I did use ALA this weekend up to 6g a day, i didnt have it on me all the time.

You have answered a question i add for sometime now concerning intensity of your aerobic exercice.

I guess i gotta do what i gotta do, i cant do it that intense, i still have pains in my lower back, and if i run well i feel the pain coming back a bit.

So by doing an hour of light cardio is better then doing the coach potato.

So you liked the ALA, heheh this stuff can do some wonders in the carb up.

Good stuff, your discipline for your carb choice have helped you a lot too, mine was well SSSSSSSSUGGGAAAAAAAAAA so i am gonna put a extra day to hit ketoland.

THanks BigDaddy32

well I've been using some crappy australian brand ALA, but it turned out to be cheaper to order it from the states. This was my biggest and longest load so far, but I did everything the same last week as far as workouts, maybe just a bit lighter on the carbs though. So the only thing I can think of is the ALA that I used!

what type of cardio do you do BigDaddy32

What type of cardio do you do, and would you considere an hour walk any type of cardio.

My and my girlfriend usually go out after supper to take a walk. I know that many dont conscider a walk has cardio.

Meg_S Mon, Oct-21-02 09:51

If walking is what your body can handle (due to back pain or whatever) find a hill and walk quickly up it.

"walking" may not be cardio, but I hike uphill for an hour and depending on my speed (I don't run), my heart rate can get way over 200 if I want. I also use hiking poles for total body movement and increased energy expenditure.

Don't feel you have to do something high impact to get the heart rate up.

take care,
Meg

THanks you i love hicking

We started hicking a while back but the places we used to go, got pertty expensive, so we stop going.

I have to get a membership to a gym because the one at my job SUCKS.

They never oil the machines so you end up having a 3 part movement and the damn thing stops in the middle, i get so pissed off.

Cardio machines are always broken, well i know its kinda stupid to cry because i dont pay to train at my job but still i guess i should go to a good gym that has good equipement.

For the walking, i am gonna try finding some hills or so thank you very much.

Where are you in Canada? Just pm me if you don't want to advertise it, but I could tell you some great places in Ontario... not the hilliest area but there are some spots if you don't mind seeing the same scenery every day.

take care,
Meg
